All Saints Child Care LAMS is currently seeking a part time Maintenance Lead that will commit to keeping the school building in good condition and ensuring a comfortable and appealing learning environment for all students, staff, parents and visitors.

The Maintenance Lead’s responsibilities include:

• Carry out diverse heating, plumbing, and refrigeration related tasks
• Repair, installation, maintenance, and purchase of various heating, plumbing, and air-conditioning fixtures
• Guarantee adherence to safety practices and principles, and to the relevant Federal, State, and Local codes.
• Engage in diverse skill activities such as repairs of roof, doors, windows and other building components.
• Make an estimate of cost of labor and items needed for repairs
• Be willing to assist with any maintenance related task at the request of the Director and/or Assistant Director

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Maintenance Lead):

• A High School Diploma or G.E.D certificate with four or more years of progressive and practical experience in at least one or more of the skilled trades previously described
• Ability to effectively accomplish diverse skilled work in the repair and maintenance of district appliances and facilities.
• Effectiveness in prioritizing assigned duties
• Ability to interpret, illustrate, and apply regulation codes and rules.
• Ability to carry out operations safely and efficiently; utilize diverse assigned appliances and tools

• Participation in staff and training meetings
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
• Work as a team
• Using assessment tools

The Pre-K Aide responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Pre-K Teacher with above noted responsibilities
• Assist in supervision of Before & After care students.

• BA or Associates in Early Childhood Education or related field,CDA
• Prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K)
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong written and communication skills
• Early Education and Care Certification

• 90 hour preschool curriculum and development certificate AND/OR 45 hour infant/toddler   curriculum and development certificate
• Minimum of 18 years of age

• Provide support for computerized record management and in creating documents, reports, charts, graphs, and presentations
