STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
All Saints Child Care LAMS fosters a Christian learning environment that promotes STEAM based learning techniques while also highly emphasizing the Technology and Arts components of STEAM.  STEAM plays an important part in building strong foundational skills within Pre-School ages children.  Our curriculum was carefully crafted to develop and produce well-rounded and creative Pre-School thinkers that are prepared for the future.  Our curriculum consists of the following 9 modules:

Science

Science education aims to increase child's understanding of science and the construction of knowledge as well as to promote scientific literacy and responsible citizenship.

Arts

Art education means different things to different people, but the crux of it is that it imparts knowledge and education in various fields of the arts like music, theatre, dance, and visual arts.

Social Studies

Social Studies is the integrated study of multiple fields of social science and the humanities, including history, geography, and political science.

Technology

There are many new technologies being used in classrooms today: social networking, online teaching, class blogs and wikis, podcasting, interactive whiteboards, and mobile devices.

Math

Mathematics education is referred to as the practice of teaching and learning of mathematics in a way of solving problems involving learning the algorithms and formulas necessary for computations.

Bible

The Bible speaks of the moral and spiritual instruction of believers in general and of children in particular. It places a high value upon knowledge, both of God and of His works.

Engineering

An engineering major is an interdisciplinary study of math, science and some business principles. General engineering courses teach students how to design and conduct experiments, to identify and solve problems.

Language

Language education means teaching and learning a language. It also includes the efforts made by a learner to improve his/her native language. Language education is a branch of applied linguistics.

Physical Education

Physical education provides cognitive content and instruction designed to develop motor skills, knowledge, and behaviors for physical activity and physical fitness.
